How to use

- Adjust the Compression quality slider. Lower numbers reduce size but may introduce artefacts.
- (Optional) Enable Resize before compression. Set maximum width/height in pixels and keep proportions with the checkbox if needed.
- Pick an Output format:

Troubleshooting
Why did the result look identical in size?
If the original image is already heavily compressed (e.g. a social-media JPEG), there may be little room for further reduction. Try resizing or switching formats.
Conversion failed for a huge file—what can I do?
Browsers have memory limits. Reduce the resolution in another tool first or process the file in smaller batches.
Need additional formats (HEIC, AVIF output)?
AVIF export requires the separate format converter tool. Other formats may need specialised WebAssembly codecs or server-side processing.
